- 5 / 5By HistoryNeedsYouThe Imperial Crown is conveniently located next to the railway station and the soon to be reopened Piece Hall. There's a free car park opposite the hotel and it is easy to find by road as it is opposite the railway station. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. This is a classic railway hotel with a restaurant and bar. We had a good sized room that was due for an imminent refurbishment but it was still very clean and in good order with a comfy bed. Wifi in the bedroom was very good - this is a failing of many other hotels. The only negative for some visitors would be the lack of level access and lift. Value is excellent and we shall be staying in the Imperial for our future visits to Halifax.March 30, 2017
